Taste of Georgetown

What: The Taste of Georgetown showcases the cuisine of 30 of Georgetown’s finest restaurants, as well as beverage pairings and the jazz talents of Blues Alley. This year’s Taste of Georgetown judges include some of DC’s finest foodies and media personalities including:
* Nycci Nellis, The List Are You On It & Dishing it Out Radio
* Amanda McClements, Metrocurean.com
* Samy K, HOT 99.5 Radio, the Kane Show
Participants are encouraged to get creative this year to impress the judges, with the addition of several exciting, unique new judging categories including:
* Most colorful dish
* Best use of spices
* Dish that made you go “Mmmmmm”
* Most creative dish
* Most delicious way to get a cavity
Participating merchants include: 1789, Farmers & Fishers, Baked & Wired, Bangkok Joe's, Bodega Spanish Tapas & Lounge, Café Bonaparte, Chadwick's, Clyde's, Daily Grill, Dean & Deluca, Fahrenheit Restaurant, Filomena Ristorante, Georgetown Cupcake, Hook, J Paul's, Mie N Yu, Morso, Morton's the Steakhouse, Neyla, Nick's Riverside Grille, Old Glory BBQ, Paolo's, Patisserie Poupon, Ristorante Piccolo, Tackle Box, Third Edition Taqueria, Tony & Joe's Seafood Place and more. Georgetown newcomers Thunder Burger, Crepe Amour and Georgetown Wing Co. and classic neighborhood staple Patisserie Poupon will be first-year Taste of Georgetown participants.
When: Saturday, October 9th from 11 a.m to 4 p.m.
Where: Wisconsin Avenue, NW, between M & K Streets
Cost: Tickets are $5 for one tasting and $20 for five tastings.
